Job Title: Sr. Developer ERP - AS400 Sr. Developer
Responsibilities: As a Senior ERP Developer, you will play a critical role in the design, development, and maintenance of our Order Management, Manufacturing, and financial applications. You will lead development efforts, mentor junior developers, and collaborate with business stake holders to deliver high-quality solutions.
Job Requirements:
Lead and participate in the design, development, and deployment of Order Management, Manufacturing, and financial system enhancements, customizations, and integrations.
Conduct thorough testing and validation of software to ensure accuracy, reliability, scalability, and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Investigate and resolve technical issues related to systems, ensuring minimal downtime and disruptions.
Collaborating with business stakeholders to document business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Monitor and optimize systems for performance, reliability, and scalability.
Documenting technical designs, customizations, system configurations and integrations.
Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior developers on the team, ensuring best practices and coding standards are followed.
Required:
Bachelor's degree Information Technology or related field, or 5+ years of experience directly related to professional software development.
5+ years of development experience supporting Order Management, Manufacturing, and financial applications with a proven track record of delivering enhancements and customizations.
Proven experience debugging, customizing, performance tuning, and integrating with Order Management, Manufacturing, and financial applications. Friedman ERP experience preferred.
Proficient developing in RPGLE, CLLE.
Strong understanding of iSeries platform and tools
Experience designing relational databases and writing SQL
Understanding of Order Management, Manufacturing, and financial processes and technologies.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Project management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects concurrently.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Able to work independently or as a member of a team
