Location: Based in Santo Domingo, with availability to travel.

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will oversee the Sales team’s operations and strategies and lead business development efforts in the Caribbean region. This role involves developing and implementing sales strategies, researching market trends, and conducting competitor analysis to drive growth and achieve annual sales targets.



Key Responsibilities:

1. Business Development & Sales Strategy

Lead solar business development efforts across the Caribbean, ensuring the team meets annual sales targets.
Develop and implement strategic sales plans based on market research and competitor analysis.
Identify and cultivate new business opportunities, including PV power plants, inverters, EV charging, and energy storage solutions.
2. Customer Acquisition & Relationship Management

Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients and key decision-makers.
Drive strategic negotiations and expand customer networks in the distributed photovoltaic market.
Conduct client visits, gather relevant market intelligence, and provide tailored energy solutions.
3. Project & Opportunity Ownership

Lead opportunity planning and winning strategies, coordinating resources from headquarters and external stakeholders.
Oversee the execution of sales initiatives to ensure business success.
4. Market Insights & Competitive Analysis

Continuously analyze industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics.
Provide insights and recommendations to refine sales strategies.
5. Team Leadership & Development

Build, manage, and mentor the regional business development team.
Provide ongoing training and empowerment to enhance team performance.


Qualifications & Requirements:

📌 Education:

Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Business Administration, International Trade, Marketing, Finance, Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.
📌 Experience:

Minimum 8 years of sales experience in the solar energy industry.
Proven ability to manage sales teams and lead business development initiatives.
The existing customer network in the distributed photovoltaic market is a strong advantage.
📌 Skills:

Strong knowledge of PV systems and renewable energy products.
Excellent sales, negotiation, and communication skills.
Strategic thinking with a results-driven approach.
Strong leadership, team management, and coordination abilities.
High professional integrity, patience, and stability.
